I've enjoyed every book I've read by Kelsie Rae and Risky Business is another addition to that list. Risky Business is the 4th book in the interconnected standalone Wrecked Roommates series and a crossover from the Signature Sweetheart series. The previous books in the Wrecked Roommates series has been building towards Jake's story and I have patiently been waiting. Don't worry, Risky Business is a well-written standalone and reading previous books is not necessary.

Evie is working hard to gain her father's respect so that he sees her ability to make her own choices. With Jake posing as her fake boyfriend at her family's company weekend retreat she can prove herself to her family, and Jake gets the opportunity to be in a position to make the connections for his dream job.

Jake was the perfect "fake" boyfriend. He was sweet, supportive, protective, and possessive. Jake tries to stick to his stance to never be in a relationship, but can't deny his interest in Evie and things get steamy.

Risky Business has deep characters. The story is heartfelt and steamy with a touch of angst and suspense. It is a quick easy read and will engage you from the beginning and keep you throughout.
